Red Canyon Stables resides on 45 acres of pristine high desert country. Indoor 12 x 12 stalls, large covered outdoor pens, use of all our amenities which include a vast pipe rail arena with stadium lights, warm-up arena with stadium lights, two huge round pens, and endless trail access directly from our property no need to trailer out. Big rig accessible with trailer parking. Tent camping in Red Canyon Park which backs up now to the property, and we are only 15 minutes to the town Canon City where there are plenty of hotels, lodging, restaurants, stores, and family activities.
Located in beautiful Garden Park Valley, just 8 miles north of Canon City. Riders of all disciplines and levels are welcome to bring their horses and join the scheduled activities. Access to 600 acres of trails in Red Canon Park directly from property and thousands of acres of BLM beyond that. We want to become a destination resort for any equitation events, a place the cowboys, cowgirls, and their horses will want to spend their vacation.
Getting Here
We are only 55 miles from Colorado Springs. From Colorado Spring, head south on Co 115 to Penrose 28 miles, then turn west on US 50 to Canon City, 11 miles. We are only 48 miles from Pueblo. Follow US-50 33 miles to Canon City.
From downtown Canon City, head east on Main Street or Highway 50. Turn left (north) onto N. Raynolds Ave and continue for 1.5 miles; the road turns left ( west ) and becomes Pear St. In 1/4 mile, At the 4 way stop sign, turn right (north) onto Field Avenue and continue for 2.2 miles. At the Y, travel (north) on Red Canyon Rd. In 1 mile, the road turns into Garden Park Road, in approximately 7.3 miles. You’ll see the large sign for Red Canyon Park on your left, continue 1/2 mile, and we are on the left.
